Removal Procedure

1. Open the engine access door.

2. Remove bolts (1) .

3. Remove clamps (2) .

4. Remove bolt (5) .

5. Remove muffler assembly (3). If it is necessary, loosen clamp (4) in order to remove exhaust pipe assembly (6) .

Installation Procedure

1. Position muffler assembly (3). If it is necessary, install exhaust pipe assembly (6) and tighten clamp (4) to a torque of 14 ± 2 N·m (124 ± 18 lb in).

2. Install bolt (5) .

3. Install clamps (2) and tighten clamps (2) to a torque of 7 ± 2 N·m (62 ± 18 lb in).

4. Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (1) and install bolts (1) .

5. Close the engine access door.
