Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |

- Position swing motor (32) and install bolts (33). Tighten bolts (33) to a torque of 85 N·m (63 lb ft).

- Position pilot control valve (15). Install bolts (13). Install bracket assembly (14) .

- Connect harness assemblies (12) to top console (11) .

- Install upper console (11) and bottom console (10) .
- Install armrest (7). Position lever assembly (9) and install screws (8) .

- Position pilot control valve (4) and install bolts (5). Install bracket assembly (6) .

- Install console assemblies (2) and (3). Install armrest (1) .
- Install the battery. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Battery or Battery Cable - Inspect/Replace".
- Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change".

Install the seat. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Seat - Remove and Install".
