Throttle Switch

Usage:

3508B 2GR
The throttle switch provides the operator with the ability to select the desired engine rpm. The throttle switch is a rotary switch with ten positions. The throttle switch is located near the right armrest of the cab seat. The throttle switch allows the operator to select engine rpm from 725 rpm to 1830 rpm. Refer to Table 1.

Table 1
Switch Position  Approximate Desired Engine Speed
725 rpm
840 rpm
970 rpm
1100 rpm
1230 rpm
1360 rpm
1490 rpm
1620 rpm
1750 rpm
10  1830 rpm

The throttle switch works in conjunction with the automatic engine speed control switch. The "AESC" switch will automatically return the engine to low idle when work is not being performed. If the throttle switch fails, the "AESC" switch functions as a backup throttle.
