The Integrated Temperature Sensing Module (ITSM) detects an open circuit or short to battery voltage in the No. 15 thermocouple.
System Response:
The CID-FMI is logged in memory. The CID-FMI may be viewed on a display module or on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET).
Test Step 1. Perform the following test: Thermocouple Test
Results:
- OK - Stop.
- REPAIRED, OK - Stop.
