MID 111 - CID 1215 - FMI 04 Thermocouple #15 short to ground
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Integrated Temperature Sensing Module (ITSM) reads signal voltage that is below 0.2 VDC for one second. The system has been powered for three seconds. The diagnostic codes 262-03 and 262-04 are not active.
System Response:
The CID-FMI is logged in memory. The CID-FMI may be viewed on a display module or on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET).
Test Step 1. Perform the following test: Thermocouple Test

- OK - Stop.
- REPAIRED, OK - Stop.
