Typical Example

1. Install the engine speed sensor into the 5/8 threaded hole and turn until the magnetic core makes contact with a tooth of the flywheel ring gear.

2. Back out 180 degrees and tighten the locknut.

   Torque ... 45 ± 7 N·m (33 ± 5 lb ft)

The clearance between the engine speed sensor and the flywheel ring gear is the following value: ... 0.55 to 0.83 mm (0.0217 to 0.0327 inch)
