Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood of the machine.

The air intake hose was removed for photographic purposes.

2. Remove tie strap (2) .

3. Remove bolt (1) and the washer.

4. Pull engine oil level gauge (3) out of the oil pan.

The air intake hose was removed for photographic purposes.

1. Check the O-ring seal on the bottom of engine oil level gauge (3) for wear or damage. If the O-ring seal is worn or damaged, use a new O-ring seal for replacement.

2. Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seal. Push engine oil level gauge (3) into the oil pan.

3. Install the washer and bolt (1) .

4. Install tie strap (2) .

5. Close the hood of the machine.
