Note: There are two engine speed/timing sensors. The removal procedure is identical for both of the sensors.

Disconnect harness assembly (1) .

Remove bolt (4) and bracket (3). Remove engine speed/timing sensor (2).

NOTICE

The speed/timing sensors must be installed to the proper depth for correct operation. The speed/timing sensors and the housing (front) must be free of any contaminates to ensure proper speed/timing sensors installation depth.

Install engine speed/timing sensor (2). Put bracket (3) in position and install bolt (4) .

Connect harness assembly (1) .
