Installation Procedure for the Track Roller on CIPI Undercarriage Arrangements which are Based on 330, 330B, and 330C Track Type Excavators

Note: There is a track guide on each side of the machine. The procedure which follows is for the installation of the track roller with the track guide.
- Make sure that the mounting surfaces on the track roller, the track guide, the rock guards (if equipped), and the undercarriage frame assembly are clean and free of dirt and debris prior to installing.
- Fasten a suitable lifting device to Tooling (B) or Tooling (C). Use Tool (B) or Tool (C) to put track roller (2) in position on the undercarriage frame assembly. The weight of the track roller is approximately 54 kg (120 lb). Make sure that the filler plug in the track roller is facing toward the outside of the undercarriage frame assembly. Install the four bolts that hold the track roller in position.

- Use Tooling (B) or Tooling (C) to put track guide (1) in position on the undercarriage frame assembly. Install the four bolts that secure the guide.

- Install the rock guards, if equipped.

- Prior to lowering the machine to the ground and tightening the track, make sure that all of the track rollers rotate smoothly by manually turning the track rollers.
- Lift the machine off Tooling (A). Remove Tooling (A) from the machine. Lower the machine to the floor.

- Tighten the tension of the track. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track Adjustment - Adjust" for the correct procedure.
