Joystick Control Group May Fail on Certain Telehandlers {5063, 5705}

Introduction

The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.

Problem

Reports have been received that the joystick control group may fail after the PCA implementation on the machines listed above. This issue may lead to following failures:

  • Loss of hydraulic functions

  • No reactions from the joystick

  • The rollers/thumb wheels not working properly

  • Error code "2350"

In the event of failure, replace the failed joystick with a new 441-1116 Joystick Control Gp ensuring that the serial number on the stick is above 06069. Refer to Illustration 2.

Retain the parts for the warranty period, notify the product group using the CPI feedback tool in Service Information Management System (SIMSi) referencing CPI number 403350, and check the "Send-It-Back" system for open SIB requests.
