Description Of Change: The new fan drive group has been improved to prevent the fan bearing from failing and cause damage to engine components. The fan bearing in nongreasable.
Adaptable To: The new 524-8556 Fan Drive Gp replaces the former 387-6765 Fan Drive Gp.
The new fan drive group is retrofitted back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.
- Factory production began on PRB00178 for the new fan drive.
- Factory production began on DJS00114 for the new fan drive.
