CID 1922 FMI 06 Intake Valve Actuation System Oil Pressure Solenoid Current Above Normal
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects Intake Valve Actuation System Oil Pressure Solenoid : Current Below Normal
The ECM will log the diagnostic code.
The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the current flow through the coils of the applicable components. The ECM sets a diagnostic trouble code if the current flow through a coil is incorrect. These codes can be activated only when the ECM is sending a command to the control valves. A -6 code indicates that the current flow through the circuit is high and there is a short in the circuit.
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: "Solenoid Valve - Test"
