Precombustion Chambers,Air Cleaner Housing

Usage:

Remove Precombustion Chambers

preparatory step:

a) remove fuel injection valves

1. Drain the cooling system.

2. Using wrench (A), remove precombustion chamber (1). Remove the precombustion chamber gasket.

Install Precombustion Chambers

1. Install a new O-ring seal and gasket on the precombustion chamber. Coat the O-ring and bore in cylinder head with liquid soap. Coat the threads of the precombustion chamber with 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound.

2. Install the precombustion chamber in the cylinder head. Using tool (A), tighten the chamber to 150 ± 10 lb. ft. (20,7 ± 1,4 mkg).

concluding step:

a) install fuel injection valves

Remove Air Cleaner Housing

1. Remove the air cleaner element.

2. Remove the air cleaner housing mounting bands (1).

3. Remove the air cleaner housing (3) and adapter (2).

Install Air Cleaner Housing

1. Install the filter housing adapter (1) all the way into the turbocharger.

2. Position the air filter housing on the coupling to provide .25 in. (6,4 mm) clearance between the inside lip (2) of the filter housing and the face (1) of the coupling.

3. Install the air filter housing mounting bands.

4. Install the air filter element and housing cover.
