Fuel Injection Valves

Usage:

Remove Fuel Injection Valves

1. Disconnect the engine oil pressure sensing line from the cylinder block, (industrial engine only).

2. Remove the instrument panel mounting bolts and lay the panel to one side (industrial engine only).

3. Remove the remaining valve cover retaining bolts and remove the valve cover.

4. Remove inner fuel injection lines (1).

5. Remove fuel injection valve retaining nuts (2).

6. Remove the fuel injection valve assembly.

7. Remove the valve assembly from the adapter.

Install Fuel Injection Valves

1. Install the valve finger tight on the adapter.

2. Install the fuel injection valve assembly (1) in precombustion chamber (2).

3. Install the fuel injection valve retaining nut (3). Tighten the nut to 105 ± 5 lb. ft. (14,5 ± 0,7 mkg).

4. Install the inner fuel injection lines. Tighten the retaining nuts to 30 ± 5 lb. ft. (4,1 ± 0,7 mkg).

5. Position the valve cover on the engine and install cover retaining bolts.

6. Place the instrument panel on the valve cover and install the panel retaining bolts (industrial engine only).

7. Connect the oil pressure sensing line to the cylinder block, (industrial engine only).
