Consolidation of C175 Machine Engine Arrangements {1000} Caterpillar

Certain C175 machine engine arrangements have been canceled and removed from the serviceable parts list to consolidate engine arrangements. The extra quiet arrangements have been removed and can be serviced by the standard engine arrangement plus a conversion kit. The command for hauling specific arrangements have also been removed and can be serviced by the standard engine arrangement plus a conversion kit. Also, 2 of the Reman engine arrangements used for Type 1 replacements have also been removed and can be service by the true Reman equivalent arrangement.

Refer to Tables 1 and 2 for the new and canceled engine arrangement part numbers and the new conversion kit part numbers.

Refer to Tables 4 and 5 for the conversion kit bill of material. The 378-5492 Engine Conversion Ar and 492-8151 Engine Conversion Ar Kits are not serviced.
