Note: Not all equipment has a configuration file created. If a configuration file is needed, there is a document in dealer.cat.com/PL in the "Service Technicians Toolbox" that matches up which configuration files have been created for that equipment. If a configuration file is needed for a specific installation, make the request for the new configuration file by having your TC enter a Product Technology service request through the PSCRM system.

Configuration files are already installed on all product that was built with a network manager in the factory. A configuration will need to be installed if one of the following have been performed.

• Replaced a failed network manager

• Retrofit kit installation

Configuration files can be found on SISweb by searching for the product serial number in the "Service Software Files" section of SISweb. If you are unsure of what configuration file you need for a retrofit installation, check the configuration files for PL6 page on https://dealer.cat.com/PL.

Complete the following steps to install the configuration file.

1. Connect to the "Web Configuration" home page. For more information, refer to System Operation Troubleshooting Testing and Adjusting, M0076820, "Service Tools" for more information.

2. Connect to the "Upload/Delete Config" link inside the "Product Link" menu.

3. Choose the "Browse" button to upload the configuration file that is already stored on your computer.

4. Select the "Upload" button to upload the configuration file.

   Note: The Network Manager will need to power cycle before the configuration file part number is displayed in the "Product Link Home".
