Removal Procedure

Start By:

a.Remove the piston motor (Disc saw).

1. Place a suitable cribbing under saw blade.

2. Disconnect harness (1). Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and (3).

3. Remove bolts (4) and plate (5).

4. Remove bolts (6) and retainer (7).
   Show/hide table

5. Remove shim (8) and coupling (9).

6. Separate output shaft (10) with disc saw from the felling head.

7. Remove bearing cone (11).

9. Remove retainer (13).

12. Note the orientation of the lip seal (16) for installation purpose. Remove lip seal (16).

13. Remove ring (17).

14. Remove bolts (18) and output shaft (10).

Installation procedure

1. Install output shaft (10) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Install lip seal (16) onto the output shaft. Ensure the correct orientation of lip seal (16). Refer to Illustration 14 for correct orientation.

      Note: If the lip seal has indication as Bearing Side, should face away from the bearing.
