Description Of Change: A new receiver is available for the driveshaft fall Protection T-handle on machines listed above. The new bracket will provide additional clearance around the supporting geometry.

New 497-9022 Bracket As (1) replaces the former 391-0614 Bracket As in 424-7742 Mounting Bracket Gp.

New bracket assembly (1) is adaptable to the machines and effective in production with the machines that are listed in Table 1.

Rework Procedure

Follow the rework procedure given below to install new 497-9022 Bracket As.

1. Remove four 8T-4139 Bolts (C) and four 8T-4223 Hard Washers (D) and save the parts. Remove 391-0614 Bracket As (B) from the drive shaft guard and discard the part.

2. Install new 497-9022 Bracket As (1) to the drive shaft guard using four 8T-4139 Bolts (C) and four 8T-4223 Hard Washers (D) that were secured in Step 1.
