The "Transmission/Chassis ECM" is mounted on the rear of the transmission. The machine service connector for the Cat ET connection is located in the cab on the left side of the operators seat.
When a procedure requires that the electrical system to be turned OFF, move the key start and electrical disconnect switch to the OFF position.
To locate the connectors for the wiring harness on the machine, refer to the Electrical System Schematic, Parts Manual, and Operation and Maintenance Manual.
The following information is a guide to reading the tables for the component location on the back of the Electrical System Schematic.
- The "Component Location" table uses white circles or light gray circles to mark locations in the profile of the machine and area views. Alphabetical letters in the "Machine Location" column indicate a general area of the machine. Refer to the corresponding footnote at the end of the table for a description of the location.
- The "Harness Connector Location" table uses white circles or light gray circles to mark the locations in the general view and in the area views. Alphabetical letters in the "Machine Location" column indicate a general area of the machine. Refer to the corresponding footnote at the end of the table for a description of the location.

The Implement ECMs are located behind the operator seat and under the appearance cover. The J1 and J2 connectors for each ECM is shown in the illustration. The machine service connector for Cat ET connection is at floor level on the right side of the seat in the cab.
When a procedure requires the machine electrical system to be turned OFF, move the key switch and electrical disconnect switch to the OFF position.
To locate machine wiring harness connectors, the Electrical System Schematic, Parts Manual, and Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine should be used.
