The rear implement hoses may rub as hoses are routed through the swing casting. Hoses seen in the field with the hose worn down to the outer wires and the swing casting polished from the hoses rubbing.

Solution

The hoses will rub through where hoses contact the mouth of the swing casting. Hoses will rub through the outer rubber and expose the steel wires. Then, the wear will stop. Hoses in this condition can last for many hours. Many machines with over 7000 hours with worn hoses to the wire, are operating with no problems. DO NOT change the hoses if worn to the wire. A wear guard is being validated. Only replace hoses that have burst, are bulging, or are leaking.
