Description of Change: A new installation procedure for the aftercooler air lines clamps is now used on certain Articulated Trucks. The new installation procedure improves clearances between the clamps and the underside of the hood.

Adaptable To: The updated procedure for the installation of the 208-7448 Clamps ensures that orientation is always as intended.

The new installation procedure for the aftercooler air lines clamps is adaptable to the following machines:

• 735C (S/N: LFJ1-254)

• 735C (S/N: TFJ1-150)

• 740C (S/N: LFN1-272)

• 740C (S/N: TFN1-161)

• 745C (S/N: LFK1-268)

• 745C (S/N: TFK1-210)

The new installation procedure for the aftercooler air lines clamps is effective in production on the following machines:

• 735C (S/N: LFJ255-UP)

• 735C (S/N: TFJ151-UP)

• 740C (S/N: LFN273-UP)

• 740C (S/N: TFN162-UP)

• 745C (S/N: LFK269-UP)

• 745C (S/N: TFK211-UP)

Adjust any 208-7448 Clamps (A) as needed, to the orientation shown in the following images. Torque the clamps to 7 ± 1 N·m (5 ± 0.7 lb ft).
