Track Carrier Roller

The machine has a track carrier roller on each side. The track carrier roller gives support to the track between the drive sprocket and the front idler. The track carrier rollers have Duo-Cone seals (3) at both ends of shaft (1). Thrust washers (2) absorb the side load on the roller. The center of shaft (1) is an oil reservoir. This oil is used for lubrication of the bearing surfaces.
The shaft on the track carrier roller is fastened to a support bracket by a clamp. The support bracket is welded to the track roller frame.
The track carrier rollers must be in alignment with the sprocket and the front idler. The carrier roller is aligned by sliding the roller shaft in the support bracket.
