New Front Axle Skid Plates are Now Available for Certain 16H and 16M Motor Graders {0679, 3268, 4313, 7150, 7185}

ReferenceSpecial Instruction, REHS9817, "Procedure to Install Front Axle Skid Plates on Certain 16H and 16M Motor Graders".
New front axle skid plates are now available on the machines listed above. The new skid plates will protect steering cylinders and hoses from debris and rock damage.
For a complete procedure for installing the new front axle skid plates to the field machines, refer to Special Instruction, REHS9817, "Procedure to Install Front Axle Skid Plates on Certain 16H and 16M Motor Graders".
The special instruction can be found on the Caterpillar service information system (SIS) and through the normal literature distribution system at your local Cat dealer.
