General Information (Main Pump System)
The main hydraulic system features one variable displacement piston pump. The main hydraulic pump is mechanically driven by the internal gear set inside the pump drive which is mounted to the engine. Output from the pump is sent to the main control valve.
The pump regulator is controlled in two ways. The machine electronic control system can change output of the pump actuating the horsepower control solenoid. The pump regulator Electronic Pump Control (EPC) valve, controls output flow of the main pump by changing the hydraulic signal pressure that flows to the actuator piston.
