Main Control Valve - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Connect the steering frame lock.
- Release the hydraulic system pressure.

- Remove covers (1) and (2).

74 kg (163 lb) . - Remove bolts (4) and the washers.

Illustration 3 g03723148 - Remove bolts (5) and the washers. Remove bolt (6) (not shown) and the washer. Repeat this step for the opposite side of cover assembly (3).
- Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove cover assembly (3).

- Disconnect tube assemblies (9).
- Remove tube assemblies (8).
- Disconnect harness assemblies (11). Cut the cable straps.

30 kg (66 lb) . - Remove bolts (13) and the washers. Remove bolts (14) and the washers. Use Tooling (B) and the suitable lifting device in order to remove main control valve (12).
