Start By:

  1. Remove the piston motor (hydraulic fan).

  1. Remove bolts (1) and valve (2) .

  1. Remove O-ring seals (3) .

  1. Remove plugs (4) .

  1. Remove plug (5) and the O-ring seal.

  1. Remove spring (6), washer (7), and spool (8) .

  1. Remove plug (11) and the O-ring seal.

  1. Remove spring (10) and washer (9) .

  1. Remove plug (12) and the O-ring seal.

  1. Remove spring (13) and poppet (14) .

  1. Rove bolts (15) and head (16) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (17) and plate (18) .

  1. Remove retaining ring (19) and cover (20) .

  1. Remove seal (21) from cover (20) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (22) and shims (23) .

  1. Install Tooling (A) in order to remove rotating group (24) from housing (25) .

  1. Remove barrel (26) from the pistons.

  1. Remove spring (27) and shim (28) from barrel (26) .

  1. Remove screws (29) from the shaft. Remove plate (30) and the pistons from the shaft.

  1. Remove pin (31) and pistons (32) from plate (30). The piston rings are non-serviceable separately from the pistons.

  1. Remove retaining ring (33) from shaft (34) .

  1. Use a suitable press and Tooling (B) in order to remove bearings (34) from shaft (35). The bearings are serviced only as a kit in order to maintain proper bearing preload.
