Description of Change: To help increase the quality of the field assembly kit boxing process, and also to help enhance and improve the final field assembly of the 777G Off-Highway Trucks, improvements have been implemented to the arrangements of the field assembly kit boxing.
The improvements to the field assembly kit boxing will improve locating components, avoid misplacing components, and help to avoid damaging components.
Adaptable To: Each 777G Off-Highway Truck will now be shipped with four separate field assembly kit boxes.
Note: An Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) machine will only be shipped with three boxes because the hardware and components for the body are not needed.Each shipped box will have a brief description of the content marked on the outside of the box. Also, each box will have an individual bill of material.
- Box 1 - "POWERTRAIN" "SUSPENSION" "BRAKE" "HYD" - Will contain front brake hoses, rear brake tubes, suspension hardware, axle mounting hardware, valve stems, and similar items.
- Box 2 - "EXHAUST" "STEP" "MUDFLAP" "CAB" - Will contain mud flaps and mounting hardware, access steps, exhaust outlet tubes, cab outrigger and cab mounting hardware, and similar items.
- Box 3 - "MIRROR" "ELECTRICAL" "MISC" - Will contain mirrors, wheel chocks, payload displays, product link antenna and cable, filters, cable straps, and similar miscellaneous items.
- Box 4 - "BODY MTG" - Will contain body mounting pads, body films, rock ejectors, and similar body mounting hardware.
