Cat MT4400D AC Off-Highway Truck VIMSTM 3G and Truck Payload Measurement System (TPMS) Caterpillar

• "VIMSpc" has been used to assign a new serial number to the VIMS^TM electronic control module (ECM)

• Components have been replaced (Including: VIMS ECM, suspension cylinders, suspension cylinder pressure sensors.)

The TPMS will not operate until a successful payload calibration has been completed.

To calibrate the VIMS TPMS:

1. Navigate to the Payload Calibration menu in Advisor by selecting:

   1. Home

   2. Settings

   3. Calibration

   4. Truck Payload

2. Ensure that the truck body is empty.

   Carryback weight will affect the payload measurement.

3. Operate the empty truck to a minimum speed of 4 mph on hard level ground.

4. Move the directional selector to the neutral position and allow the truck to coast to a stop.

   Do not use the service brakes or the retarder.

5. Press the "OK" button on the Advisor display.

   The Advisor display will show a "Calibration Complete" message if the calibration was successful.
