Description of Change: The new bevel gear and bevel pinion shaft have a new tooth geometry which will reduce the contact stresses. This will reduce the contact temperatures and help prevent high hour scoring.

The new 378-8476 Bevel Gear (1) and 378-8474 Bevel Pinion Shaft (2) are part of the 387-4496 Differential and Bevel Gear Gp. The 378-8476 Bevel Gear and 378-8474 Bevel Pinion Shaft are replacement for the former 254-7973 Bevel Gear Set .
The 378-8476 Bevel Gear and 378-8474 Bevel Pinion Shaft are adaptable to the machines B9H1-866 and R9H1-915 and effective in production with the machines R9H916-UP.
