    (2) Engine oil filler cap

  • Remove engine oil level gauge (1) and clean the gauge with a clean cloth. Reinsert the gauge completely and remove the gauge again. This procedure will give a more accurate measurement of the oil level.

  • When the engine is running at low idle, check the "ENGINE AT LOW IDLE WITH WARM OIL" side of the engine oil level gauge. Maintain the oil level between the "ADD" mark and the "FULL" mark.

When the engine is stopped, check the "ENGINE STOPPED WITH OIL COLD" side of the engine oil level gauge. Maintain the oil level between the "ADD" mark and the "FULL" mark.

  • If necessary, remove engine oil filler cap (2) and add oil.

  • Make sure that the engine oil level gauge and the filler cap are installed securely.

  • Close the right-hand engine access doors.
