Heater Core - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the heating and air conditioning unit.
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
- Disconnect harness assemblies (1) and (2) .

- Remove bolts (3) .

- Separate case (4) from case (5) .

- Remove clips (6), (7), and (8) .

- Disconnect coolant temperature sensor (9) .

- Remove bolts (10) and place cover assembly (11) aside.

- Remove bolt (14) and disconnect lever assembly (12) .

- Remove bolt (15) and disconnect lever assembly (13) .
- Place lever assemblies (12) and (13) aside.

- Remove heater core (16) .
Installation Procedure
- Install heater core (16) in the reverse order of removal.
End By: Install heating and air conditioning unit.
