Caterpillar Machines Using Standard U-Cup Seals On Hydraulic Cylinders
Cold temperature U-cup seals are available for use in extremely cold temperatures. The cold temperature seals use a stainless steel spring to keep the seal lip in contact with the cylinder rod. This prevents leakage during cold start-up.
The cold temperature U-cup seals are available for hydraulic cylinders using standard U-cup seals. See illustration and chart for standard and cold temperature U-cup seals.
