注: 下述步骤描述用于检查和调整机器左侧布料器传动链的步骤。 牵引机另一侧布料器传动链的检查和调整步骤与之类似。

柴油发动机的排气含有可伤害人体的燃烧产物。 必须要在通风良好的地方起动发动机，如果在密闭的地方起动，就要把排气通到外面。 |
- 把机器开到平整水平的路面。
- 将行走操纵杆 (4) 移至空档位置。

- 将速度旋钮 (2) 转到最小位置。
- 将驱动选择开关 (3) 移到待机位置。
- 将行驶模式开关 (1) 移到摊铺位置。
- 将熨平板提升开关 (5) 移到下降位置。 降低熨平板。

- 将油门杆 (6) 移到低怠速位置。

- 将停车制动器开关 (7) 移到接通位置。
- 将发动机起动开关 (8) 移到断开位置。
- 拆下六颗螺栓 (9) 和垫圈。 拆下盖 (10) 和密封垫。

- 测量链条的挠度。 链条中点的挠度应为 15 ± 2 mm (0.6 ± 0.08 in)。

- 如果挠度超出指定范围，则转到步骤 13。 如果挠度在指定范围内，则转到步骤 14。
- 采用以下步骤来调整链条张力：
- 拧松四个螺栓 (11) （图中有三个），但并不拆下。
- 松开锁紧螺母 (12) 。

- 顺时针转动调整螺栓 (13) 以拧紧传动链。
- 逆时针转动调整螺栓 (13) 以拧松传动链。
- 固定调整螺栓 (13) 。
- 拧紧锁定螺母 (12) 。
- 拧紧螺栓 (11) 。
- 进行第 11 步。

- 如有必要，在链条壳体上涂抹润滑脂。
- 放置垫片和盖 (10) ，安装螺栓 (9) 的垫圈。
