Lubrication Change On Twin Disc Power Take-Off's (PTO's){3055}
Usage:
Caterpillar Machines Equipped With 4P-3073, 2W-4906, 2W-4908, And 4P-0410 Twin Disc PTO's
To standardize all Twin Disc Power Take-Off's (PTO's), 4P-3073, 2W-4906, 2W-4908, and 4P-0410 Twin Disc PTO Clutches will now be shipped with 1P-0808 All-Purpose Lubricant Cartridge Group (lithium base grease) instead of 2S-3230 Bearing Lubricant (high temperature grease). Read the PTO information plate for grease recommendations.
NOTE: Lithium grease and high temperature grease should NOT be mixed. They are NOT compatible and can cause a PTO failure when mixed.
