- Off-Highway Truck/Tractor:
- 777G (S/N: T5A1-UP; TNM1-UP; RDR1-UP; T4Y1-UP)
Introduction
The problem that is identified below does not have a known permanent solution. Until a permanent solution is known, use the solution that is identified below.
Problem
777G machines equipped with RAC (Road Analysis Control) can log excessive diagnostic events. Level 1 and 2 diagnostic events associated with Road Analysis Control (RAC) are listed below:
- EID 697 - Negative High Peak Frame Bias
- EID 698 - Positive High Peak Frame Rack
- EID 699 - Negative High Peak Frame Rack
- EID 700 - Negative High Peak Frame Pitch
- EID 777 - Positive High Peak Frame Bias
- EID 778 - High Peak Frame Rack
- EID 779 - Positive High Peak Frame Pitch
Solution
In the VIMS Application Module configuration file, change the "Road Analysis Severity Selection" value from 1 to 3. This will significantly reduce the number of logged events. The factory default value for the "Road Analysis Severity Selection" will be 3.
The above mentioned change is adaptable to and is effective in production with the serial numbers that are listed in Table 1:
Sales Model     | Adaptable Serial Numbers     | Effective Serial Numbers     |
