Description of Change: An updated mudguard is now available for the right-hand side of the truck. The updated mudguard extends coverage out to the edge of the mud defector that is currently mounted onto the right-hand platform.

When installing the new mudguard, there is a difference in one of the mounting plates depending how the truck is equipped. The truck can be equipped with body heat or with atmosphere exhaust. Table 2 provides the parts list for the mud guard with exhaust. Table 3 provides the parts list for the mud guard with diverter box for a heated body.

Note: On trucks with Atmosphere exhaust, ensure that the exhaust tip is positioned so that the hot engine exhaust is not being blown on the mud guards.

Adaptable To: The new 417-0162 Guard is part of 314-7140 Fender Gp in the 314-7000 Chassis Ar .

The new 417-0162 Guard is adaptable and effective in production with the machines that are listed in Table 1.
