Start By:
- Remove the brake accumulator charging valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Accumulator Charging Valve (Brake) - Remove".
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before you begin the disassembly procedure, thoroughly clean the exterior of the components. Thoroughly cleaning the exterior of the component will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism. Precision components can be damaged by contaminants or by dirt. Perform disassembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.
- Remove plug (1). Remove O-ring seal (17) from plug (1).
- Remove spring (16), poppet (15), spool (14), poppet (12) and spring (11).
- Remove two O-ring seals (13) from spool (14).
Note: Before loosening nut (2), accurately measure and record the distance from the end of screw (3) to the end of the housing for assembly purposes.
- Remove nut (2) and screw (3). Remove O-ring seal (10) from screw (3).
- Remove spring (9), poppet (8), plunger (7), O-ring seal (6), washer (5) and two spacers (4).

To prevent the possibility of injury, follow the procedure to relieve the spring pressure.
- Remove plug (18). Remove O-ring seal (32) from plug (18).
- Remove spring (31), spring (30), spring seat (29) and spool (28).
- Remove O-ring seal (27) from spool (28).
- Remove plug (19). Remove O-ring seal (26) from plug (19).
- Remove spring (25), plunger (24), ball (23), piston (22) and spool (21).
- Remove two O-ring seals (20) from spool (21).

- Remove plug (33). Remove O-ring seal (34) from plug (33).
Note: Before removing set screw (35), accurately measure and record the distance from the end of set screw (35) to the end of the housing. Record the measurement for assembly purposes.
- Remove set screw (35), spring (36), plunger (37) and ball (38).
- Remove plug (39). Remove O-ring seal (40) from plug (39).
