Start By:

a. remove oil filter base

1. Remove clamp (2).

2. Remove elbow (3).

3. Attach a strap and a suitable lifting device to oil cooler (5).

4. Remove bolts (7).

5. Remove bracket (4).

6. Remove the bolts from bonnet (1).

7. Remove the oil level gauge.

8. Remove bonnet (1), cooler (5) and bonnet (6) as a unit. The weight of the unit is 26 kg (58 lb).

9. Clean the tubes in cooler (5) with a 3.2 mm (.125 in) diameter rod as shown.

NOTE: Check the O-ring seals on the oil cooler for damage or wear and replace if necessary.

NOTE: For installation of the oil cooler, reverse the removal steps.
