Description of Measure Screens

Usage:

Measure Menu

The "Measure" menu consists of the following submenu:

  • "Right Joystick"

  • "Left Joystick"

  • "Keypad"

  • "Front Valve"

  • "Machine Sensors and Switches"

  • "Front Manifold"

  • "Mid Manifold"

  • "Propel"

  • "Brake Pedal"

  • "Saw Speed Press"

  • "Cylinder Test"

  • "Fan Control"

Each submenu lists measurable functions or channels as well as the current output of each channel.

Right Joystick Measure Menu

The right joystick measure menu consists of the following:

  • Right Joystick Tilt Arm (MAC) Percent

  • Right Joystick Lift Arm (MAC) Percent

  • Right Joystick Button 2 (PIN) Value

  • Right Joystick Button 3 (PIN) Value

  • Right Joystick Button 6 (PIN) Value

  • Right Joystick Button 7 (PIN) Value

  • Right Joystick Button 8 (PIN) Value

Right JS Tilt Arm (MAC) - This parameter monitors the right and left position of the right joystick.

Right JS Lift Arm (MAC) - This parameter monitors the fore and aft position of the right joystick.

Right JS Button 2 (PIN) - This parameter monitors the bunch close switch.

Right JS Button 3 (PIN) - This parameter monitors the bunch open switch.

Right JS Button 6 (PIN) - This parameter monitors the side-cut switch. This switch is only active on machines that are equipped with a felling head with the side-cut option.

Right JS Button 7 (PIN) - This parameter monitors propel reverse switch. This switch is only active on machines with the one-pedal option.

Right JS Trigger 8 (PIN) - This parameter monitors the front differential lock switch.

Note: The "F2" key allows for toggling between raw values and scaled values.

Left Joystick Measure Menu

The left joystick measure menu consists of the following:

  • Left Joystick Steering (MAC) Percent

  • Left Joystick Button 2 (PIN) Value

  • Left Joystick Button 3 (PIN) Value

  • Left Joystick Button 7 (PIN) Value

  • Left Joystick Button 8 (PIN) Value

Left JS Steer (MAC) - This parameter monitors the right and left position of the left joystick.

Left JS Button 2 (PIN) - This parameter monitors the gather-close switch.

Left JS Button 3 (PIN) - This parameter monitors the gather-open switch.

Left JS Button 7 (PIN) - This parameter monitors the propel override switch.

Left JS Trigger 8 (PIN) - This parameter monitors the all-open switch.

Note: The "F2" key allows for toggling between raw values and scaled values.

Note: The pin number and the connector number are useful for troubleshooting. The pin number and connector number will help to determine the electrical connector and the wire that is involved.

Front Valve Measure Menu

The front valve measure menu consists of the following:

  • SW6-Attach On (COUT) Value

  • Left Joystick Steer (COUT) Value

  • Lift Arm (COUT) Value

  • Tilt Arm (COUT) Value

  • Gather Open (DOUT)

  • Gather Close (DOUT)

  • Bunch Finger Open (DOUT)

  • Bunch Finger Close (DOUT)

  • Side Cut (DOUT)

SW6–Attach On (COUT) - This parameter shows the output signal to the attachment forward solenoid.

Left JS Steer (COUT) - This parameter shows the output signal to the steering solenoids.

Lift Arm (COUT) - This parameter shows the output signal to the lift and lower solenoids.

Tilt Arm (COUT) - This parameter shows the output signal to the tilt solenoids.

The remaining functions that are displayed on this screen are digital out channels. The values for these channels are "True" or "False".

  • Propel REV A (VIN) Percent

  • Propel REV B (VIN) Percent

  • Fuel Level Sw (VIN) Percent

  • Door Sw (DIN)

  • Charge Filter SW (DIN)

  • Return Filter SW 1 (DIN)

  • Hydraulic Oil Low (DIN)

  • Flood Front (DOUT)

  • Flood Rear (DOUT)

  • Horn (DOUT)

Attachment Pump Pressure (VIN) - This parameter is the input from the pressure sensor in the attachment hydraulic circuit.

Auxiliary Pump Pressure (VIN) - This parameter is the input from the pressure sensor in the implement hydraulic circuit.

Service Brake Sensor (VIN) - This parameter is the scaled input from the service brake sensor.

Propel FWD A Sensor (VIN) and Propel FWD B (VIN) - These parameters scale the two input signals from the propulsion forward sensor.

Propel REV A Sensor (VIN) and Propel REV B (VIN) - These parameters scale the two input signals from the propulsion reverse sensor.

Fuel Level Sw (VIN) - This parameter is the input from the fuel level sensor.

The remaining functions that are displayed on this screen are digital in and digital out channels. The values for these channels are "True" or "False".

Front Manifold Measure Menu

The front manifold measure screen consists of the following:

  • Front Differential Lock (COUT) Value

  • Parking Brake (COUT) Value

  • Parking Brake Press (DIN)

  • Accum Press (DIN)

  • Service Brake (COUT) Value

  • Service Brake Sensor (VIN) Percent

  • Service Brake (MAC) Percent

Front Differential Lock (COUT) - This parameter shows the output signal to the front differential lock solenoid.

Parking Brake (COUT) - This parameter shows the output signal to the parking brake solenoid.

Parking Brake Press (DIN) - The parking brake pressure switch provides the input signal for this parameter.

Accum Press (DIN) - The accumulator pressure switch provides the input signal for this parameter.

Service Brake (COUT) - This parameter shows the output signal that is sent to the service brake solenoid.

Service Brake Sensor (VIN) - This parameter shows the input signal from the service brake sensor.

Service Brake (MAC) - This parameter determines the magnitude of the COUT parameter.

Mid Manifold Measure Screen

The mid manifold measure screen consists of the following:

  • Arm Attach Pump (MAC) Percent

  • Arm Attach Pump (COUT) Value

  • Differential Lock Rear (COUT) Value

  • Arm Aux Press (DOUT)

Arm Attach Pump (MAC) - This parameter shows the percent of the maximum output signal that is currently being sent to the attachment pump solenoid.

Arm Attach Pump (COUT) - This parameter shows the actual value of the signal being sent to the attachment pump solenoid.

Differential Lock Rear (COUT) - This parameter shows the output signal to the rear differential lock solenoid.

Arm Aux Press (DOUT) - This parameter indicates if a signal is being sent to the implement pump solenoid.
