当卡车车斗降下时,卡车车斗定位板 (1) 沿顺时针方向向下推动操纵杆 (3) 。 随着操纵杆 (3) 向下移动,卡车车斗上升限制开关 (2) 会向底盘(ECM)发送一个信号。 该信号表示卡车车斗处于降下位置。 车斗上升限制开关 (2) 的调整非常重要。 请参考液压系统测试和调整, "限制开关(卡车车斗上升)- 调整"以了解正确的调整程序。

当卡车车斗处于上升位置时,卡车车斗上升限制开关 (2) 将限制使用的最高档。 出厂时底盘(ECM)的最高档数值设置为第一档。 直到卡车车斗降下,变速箱才会换过第一档。 最高档数值可以通过利用 Electronic Technician(ET)进行编程。 最高档数值可以更改为第二档或者第三档。

来自卡车车斗上升限制开关 (2) 的信号也用于控制举倾控制阀的 SNUB 位置。 底盘(ECM)向举倾比例阀发出信号。 当卡车车斗降下或接近机架时,电磁阀会将举倾控制阀移动到 SNUB 位置。 浮动的速度在 SNUB 位置被降低,以阻止卡车车斗接触机架时过于猛烈。

来自卡车车斗上升限制开关 (2) 的信号也用于向操作员发出警告。 当卡车车斗处于上升位置时如果卡车移动,该信号会向操作员发出警告。
