Removing the Oil Block Elbow
- Before removing the 2W-1055 Elbow (1), clean the entire area and vacuum any loose debris from around the elbow.

- Remove plug (2) from the top of the oil block elbow. Place a clean rag or a plug into the hole that leads to the main oil galley.
- Remove tube (3). Plug the outlet from the oil filter base with a clean rag or a plug.
- Remove the elbow (1) .
Reassembling the Oil Block Elbow
- Ensure that all rags or plugs are removed from the outlet of the oil filter base and the oil galley hole.
- Clean all parts of the oil block elbow with a solvent that meets a 13/16 ISO cleanliness rating.
- Reinstall the oil block elbow (1) and the tube (3) .
- Use a flashlight to look into the oil filter base and oil galley. Ensure that no obstructions exist.
- Replace the plug (2) .
