Connecting the Optional CMS Horn Output
Usage:
The CMS provides a horn output to warn the user of any diagnostic and/or warning condition present on the CMS display. An additional switch can be installed to enable or disable the horn.
1. Connect PIN 3 of the 8T9834 Plug Assembly (CMS 40 Pin Connector) to PIN 1 of the horn.
2. Connect PIN 2 of the horn to PIN 1 of the Enable/Disable Horn switch.
3. Connect PIN 2 of the Enable/Disable Horn switch to (-) Battery.
NOTE: The Horn driver is a 300 m Amp sourcing type driver.
