The distance (A) on the threaded plates from the center of the holes to the edge of the plate that is near the frame has been reduced from 34.0 mm (1.34 inch) to 29.5 mm (1.16 inch). The new distance will allow the centerline of the holes on the threaded plates to be correctly aligned with the holes on the mounting plate. The edge of the threaded plate is now chamfered.
Adaptable To: The updated 284-8932 Plate is now used in the 249-7587 Snow Wing Mounting Gp, the 252-0976 Snow Wing Mounting Gp and the 266-7242 Snow Wing Mounting Gp. The updated plate is adaptable back to the start of production of the machines. The updated plate became effective in production with the following machines: B9C306-UP, B9D1484-UP, B9E269-UP, B9F342-UP, B9J478-UP, B9L280-UP, B9M350-UP, B9N197-UP, B9R62-UP, B9W117-UP, D9G108-UP and D9T100-UP
Note: When you mount the snow wing to the machine, the bolt holes may not properly align. If this occurs, ream the holes in the mounting plate in order to allow the bolts to properly reach the threaded plates.
