The 244-3106 Temperature Sender As has been improved. The 244-3106 Temperature Sender As measures the temperature of the engine coolant and the sender sends the information to the gauge for the coolant temperature.

The improved sender will have a date code of 08-36. The code can be greater. The 08 code indicates year of manufacture. The 36 code indicates the week of the year.

The previous version of the sender could cause an incorrect indication of engine over heating condition. Not all senders exhibited the issue.
