- Move left conveyor ratio dial (11) to the full clockwise position. Move left conveyor switch (12) to the MANUAL position. Use Tool (A) to measure the speed. Conveyor speed should be 168 ± 5 rpm.
Note: If a photo-tachometer is not available, use a stopwatch to measure the amount of time that is required for the mark on the conveyor flight bar to make one full travel around the conveyor. The time should be 12 ± 1 seconds.
- Move left conveyor switch (12) to the OFF position.
- Move throttle control switch (7) to the LOW IDLE position. Hold the switch in this position for less than 1 second.
- After the engine reaches low idle, move engine start switch (8) to the OFF position.
- If the measured conveyor speed is not within the specified range, refer to Systems Operation Testing and Adjusting, KENR6587, "Solenoid Valve (Left Conveyor) - Calibrate".
