(1) Torque for the nut of the steering knob group ... 12.5 ± 3.0 N·m (110 ± 27 lb in)

(2) Torque for the nut ... 37 ± 7 N·m (27 ± 5 lb ft)

(3) Torque for four screws ... 6 ± 1 N·m (55 ± 9 lb in)

Note: Slide the boot (4) over the splines in order to align with point (5). Apply 6V-4876 Lubricant to the bottom surface of the boot and to the splines of the shaft.

Note: Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the bolts prior to assembly.

(6) Torque for four bolts ... 33 ± 5 N·m (24 ± 4 lb ft)
