Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
- Place bearing (24) into gearbox housing (15) .

Note: Clean half seal (20) and apply a thin coat of oil to half seal.

- Install disc (9). Install discs (9). Repeat the operation until all seven bronze disks and eight steel disks have been assembled.

- Install backup ring (6) and O-ring seal (5) in flanged hub (2) .

- Install O-ring seal (1) into the brake port of flanged hub (2) .

- Verify that the axial distance is 59.70 ± .40 mm (2.35 ± 0.02 inch) before you mount the final drive planetary.
End By: Install the final drive planetary (drum propel). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Final Drive Planetary (Drum Propel) - Install".
