Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects the following conditions:
- A low current condition in the output from the ECM to the solenoid for ether injection
- No 0168 diagnostic codes are active.
System Response:
The ECM will log the diagnostic code. A warning will appear on the display on the control panel.
Possible Performance Effect:
None
Troubleshooting:
This diagnostic code indicates a problem with the circuit for the solenoid in the ether injection system that is most likely to be an open circuit.
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: "Ether Starting Aid - Test"
