The display provides fault codes and fault messages in order to help troubleshoot sytsem problems. When a fault is detected a message appears on the LCD of the display. There are two kinds of faults that appear on the display:
- Caution - A function has been initiated, but the function cannot be carried out
- Warning - A fatal error where something must be repaired or replaced
The display is used in order to access the "Service" menu in order to aid in diagnosing system problems. The flowing section describes the "Service" menu diagnostic options that are available.

The "Events" screen allows the user to view information about one or more diagnostic events that has occurred.

The "ECM Information" option allows the user to view the current hardware and software information of the ECM that is being used for the machine and the display. The "ECM Information" option also allows the user the ability to confirm the model number of the machine that the ECM is installed upon.
