An Air Cleaner Valve and Lines Gp is available for the air cleaner. The Air Cleaner Valve and Lines Gp can be installed in order to prevent the air cleaner from pulling hot air from the muffler, if the air cleaner tubes become clogged with debris.
Blocked air cleaner tubes may result if a machine is operating in an environment that is likely to cause airborne debris. The engine is unable to pull fresh air through the side panel, if the air cleaner tubes are blocked. The engine pulls hot exhaust gases back into the air cleaner when the air cleaner tubes are blocked with debris. Blocked air cleaner tubes can lead to overheated air in the air lines.
Note: Check and clean any debris in the air cleaner assembly and in the louvers on the panel assembly.

Note: Replace the air cleaner assembly, if necessary.
- Remove the left front side panel assembly in order to drill holes.
- Align and drill the four holes in the panel assembly (1), as shown. Drill the four hole to dimension (D) .

- Position housing (4) on panel assembly (1). Install rivets (5) .

- Install rubber trim (3) on screen (2). Install screen (2) and rubber trim (3) into housing (4) .
- In order to install the check valve kit, remove 234-2622 Air Hose .
- Assemble hose (8), check valve assembly (9), tube (10), and hose (7). Install hose clamp (6) .

- Install hose clamp (12) onto check valve group (13). Position check valve group (13). Install hose clamp (6) and install hose clamp (11) .
